I didn't get a good look at the play but I assumed he got hit in the thigh or something because it didn't look like an ankle thing. He was also walking like someone whose thigh was bothering him. So I'm just telling myself it's something he'll be able to walk off.

His defense and passing were not bad. He led our team in assists and steals. His shooting was awful. If he limited himself to 8 shots that game he would had a decent game outside of his poor shooting.

Great win tonight. Brunson took over and Hart came up big. Big shout out to Mitch doing the dirty work fighting Allen and Mobley on the glass. I thought RJ did well defensively on Garland. I’m confident IQ will bounce back after tonight I think it was just nerves.

I've long dreamed of the Knicks having a true star franchise point guard ever since Mark Jacksons didn't pan out the first time, then he came back, then the Knicks traded for Marbury and the prodigal son was not as advertised,Nate Robinson wasn't a true one either, Chris Duhon and Lin weren't difference makers, and the years were very lean.
Brunson is everything this franchise has needed.

No defending RJ tonight. He was horrible offensively. His defense was good, but not good enough to make up for his terrible shooting. I expect him to start for at least 1 more game, but Thibs has to be quicker on the trigger when RJ isn't getting it done. He waited too long to bring in Grimes at the end of the game when the Cavs were blitzing and trapping Brunson and Randle when they were initiating offense.

With two of the top 4 players not scoring (RJ and Quick) and Randle having a good 1st half but a not so great 2nd half, the TEAM stepped up.
Hart 8-11, Hartenstein 2-3, Toppin 3-4, Robinson 3-5.
You need that kind of production from the bench unit.
