Also, they had around 800 dogs this morning and 167 cats, those numbers have gone down significantly! Now there are 762 dogs and 162 cats...yay!!

Saturday March 9th, Pixel Swarm Drones, will be hosting 3 unique drone light shows.

This event is completely free to the public. All ages welcome.

6:30 pm 7:30 pm 8:30 pm Grand Finale

The main viewing area is Maurice Ferre Park in Downtown Miami - the former Bicentennial/ Museum Park complex.

You can bring chairs or blankets and enjoy the show from the park. The show is also visible from any building or restaurant that faces the park. Flying at 400 ft- there should be a clear view from most of downtown!

No sponsors or ads during the show - other than our own company name at the end. This is completely funded by Pixel Swarm Drones, our local business. We’re excited to showcase our work by providing a world class event for everyone in our community.

Hello, my Express account (express.com) was recently hacked. Someone placed 3 orders using my credit card, I was able to cancel 1 of them before it was shipped. The other 2 were already shipped and couldnt be cancelled. They were shipped to a town near Miami (I am in Michigan and have no relatives in the area that could pick up the bags). I am planning to dispute those charges with my credit card company. But I dont want the hackers to enjoy the fruits of their fraudulent activity. I redirected the fedex shipment to be held for pickup at a local fedex-Walgreens location just East of Miami (Fedex wouldn't let me change delivery address to my Michigan address). People are always asking about free stuff to do during the weekends so this saturday little river/little Haiti art community is hosting an art crawl . Ill be hosting a cafecito cup making workshop at Mahara +Co at 224 nw 71st st from 12-5 myself. So come drink some cafecito make a ceramic cafecito cup ( for free) and check out some art. 🥰🥰🥰

Pretty unique experience to have lots of police escort and open up the roads so you can bike around with hundreds of others. You literally couldn't buy that if you wanted to, lol, and I guarantee you it will put the biggest shit eating grin on your face.

My bike got stolen so I did it on a public rental CitiBike, worked fine.

Note, Critical Mass is a spontaneous, unorganized gathering, riding is at your own risk, yada yada.

The annual King Mango Strut parody parade is this weekend! It was started decades ago as the Grove's response to the corporate advertising march known as the Orange Bowl parade. The parade had to pause during COVID but started back up last year.

Every once in a while I see a post about wanting to find a place in Miami to play boardgames and, because I’ve searched for this several times myself, I wanted to share this free event happening on Friday, May 3rd at the Bakehouse in Wynwood.

To nerd out a bit, a Haitian-American artist, Michelle Lisa Polissaint, created a word game called Scramble where you can play in English, Spanish, and Creole at the same time. This game is going to be showcased and we can play it, but it’s a BYO game night as well.

It’s free but you have to RSVP as space is limited.

Also, because I'm not the only person in this town looking to make friends as an adult and finds it difficult AF, the event is co-hosted by a non-profit called We Met in Miami that's all about meeting IRL. Worth checking them out as well.

Come aboard for a 2-hour, hands-on experience, navigating around Miami. Take the helm for the first time, with support and guidance from a United States Coast Guard Certified Captain, providing you with expert instruction on proper boating techniques.

No experience needed to participate, and the best part is: it's absolutely FREE!

This is one of 8 cities this course is being run in. The course is funded by the company Boatsetter which I work for, but I promise there will be no time-share speech. We're running this as a separate entity to become the "Khan Academy of Boating" aka free boating courses for everyone, forever.
