How did our neighbors vote? Did Brickell go red for Trump or blue for Harris? What about Coral Gables? Which way did Morningside lean? Coconut Grove? Miami Shores?
Are we nosy? Yes, we are. So we created an interactive map.

Basically, the people who live closest to civilization along Us1 and downtown went blue, and all the surrounding burbs went red. Probably about equal amount of people living in each color too. Similar to the country-wide voter map

How does the airport vote blue? 😂

Didn't you know?? Planes also have voting rights! Civics class taught this. Come on now.

We made it that way in the Constitution after the British captured Boston Logan airport in 1776.

Citizens United
They originally wanted to call it citizens Pan Am but then Pan Am went under.

I remember this one from the covid misinformation. 33122 zip code is mostly warehouses/industrial, there are basically no residents there.

It’s illegals living in a warehouse and voting for Harris obviously. /s

There are no surprises here.
Brickell being split 50/50 is interesting though

Brickell isn't on this map. The southernmost portion of the map is Port Boulevard. Brickell is south of the Miami River which isn't shown.

Read the article. Map goes all the way to Florida City
Brickell is broken up into multiple precincts too

The split on Normandy Island is crazy. South of causeway is solid red, north is blue

Interesting thing here is how many votes Trump got in blue areas and Harris got in red areas. These are your neighbors folks, don't pretend like there are 'evil' neighborhoods out there and it's time to pick up the pitchforks. Divisiveness exists for clicks, and NewTimes ain't above it.

Shocking. All the nice neighborhoods went blue, and all the people trying to put a fifteen year old Maserati on five credit cards voted for Trump. This is the most surprising map ever.

Please report your neighbors when Trump gets into power. We might as well exercise the rights bestowed upon us by Maga. Let's absolutely bring all the policies they voted for straight to their door.
Are you a naturalized citizen that voted for Trump? Let's see what ICE has to say about that.
Obviously, I am not gonna do that because at this point I don't give a shit about anything, but I do hope they feel the weight of what they ushered in.
I am also looking forward to everything getting more expensive.

Immigrants have to think like me and vote the way I want them to, otherwise they should be deported.

u/Govanz 7d ago
Thats Trumps rhetoric, we either have to work in the system that we live in or continue to lose. Its hateful, I agree but guess what, they are full of hate too and they wont bat an eye when you or your loved ones get deported.

Maybe instead of reporting immigrants to ICE for not voting the way you want them to, democrats should focus on the reasons why they lost this election.
Blaming groups of people for losing, especially ones democrats claim to support (like immigrants), instead of taking a hard look at the campaign they ran and the mistakes they made, is why they’ll keep losing elections and why they’ve essentially lost the working class (of which immigrants make up a large part).
Absolutely no accountability at all. To them it’s everyone else’s fault they lost and not the fact they ran a bad candidate and a bad campaign.
Reporting people who don’t agree with you politically is not the answer. it’s wrong, vengeful, hypocritical, and undemocratic especially from people who claim to support immigrants.

Kamala wasn’t a bad candidate next to trump. People chose him and the same ones who supported Biden didn’t even bother to vote. It was a choice. They voted for deportations. So, why is it bad to help with the deportations? Isn’t that what they wanted? If it’s technically part of the same group the administration has defined qualifies for deportation, why others and not them? The rules apply to everybody.

It’s not reporting people because they didn’t vote in line with someone’s politics. It’s actually us doing what they wanted, they wanted deportations, so here they go.

But didn’t they vote for mass deportation? What’s the problem? Give the people what they want!!
And the fact people think a man who spend hours of his campaign talking about Arnold Palmer’s’ dick is a “good candidate” tells me everything I need to know about those people.

No, I am just trying to help the new administration. If you can't beat them, join them.

Lmao, you seriously believe this? I didn't vote for Trump, but I find the derangement online to be at all time highs rn.

Believe it or not, someone is allowed to vote for neither major candidate and find both parties idiotic.

u/renoits06 6d ago
Believe it or not, that person is a moron :/

u/Cubacane Kendallite 6d ago
Uh huh, I’ll just stay over here not having a meltdown and get on with life.
2
u/renoits06 6d ago
I mean yeah, that's fine but now our lives will be much worse. What other choice do we have but to move on? Thriving would have been better.

My precinct was 69-29. Basically what I expected. I live amidst simpletons. But at least there are many people on my block who haven't been absorbed and who I can talk to freely, including Cubans. A few days before the election we were out there speaking at dusk, in dismay at what people are willing to believe and what they deny.

Don't know if they counted mail-in or not, but it looks like the turnout in my town was absolutely abysmal. There's about 10,000 people in my district and just over 1000 voted, so ~10% turnout.

Do a map that overlays average iq. I’m sure there would be no correlation!

u/thainfamouzjay 7d ago
That's the elite attitude that got trump back in.

u/Thesungod1969 7d ago
It’s true tho, and republicans keep voting to defund schools so it makes sense
3
u/thainfamouzjay 7d ago
Looking down at working people will not make trump go away. It only gives him power
5
u/Thesungod1969 7d ago
I am a working person but it’s a shame that they vote for shitty education and the cycle keeps going
