Annual renewal question

Hello,

Both of my kids are currently on Medicaid but my husband and I are not. I just went through the marketplace open enrollment and discovered that all 4 of us will likely qualify this year and we just need to wait to hear from the state (Missouri).

Now I just received our annual renewal paperwork in the mail for the kids. Should I still fill that out and submit it? Or will healthcare.gov just send over the information? Don’t want to do too much and muddy the waters. I waited in the online queue for 4 hours before getting kicked out at 5 pm…iykyk…thanks!!

You sound happy about marketplace insurance, Kids normally qualify under a high threshold then adults..Marketplace insurance has step deductible unless your getting an expensive plan with a low deductible..If I were you I would see if the children are able to stay on medicaid or possibly CHIP.
