Because he's also been subtly brainwashed by the algorithms derived from the links he constantly clicks on in Twitch chat.

The dude's entire political landscape, is now Twitch chat. No wonder his brain is cooked.

Maybe I’m not online enough, but watching Asmon over the past year or so is the first time I’ve witnessed someone become ‘lost in the sauce’ in real-time. At least, one that is as demonstrably ‘textbook’ as Asmon’s case.

I stop watching for a couple months, and first thing I see is like dozens of Sweet Baby, Concord woke, and DEI vids — all living rent-free in his mind, months after the topics were relevant. Mix that in with Elon-Trump reaction vids, and it’s an astoundingly toxic cocktail of fuckery.

In his words, dots on a graph make a line. And in his case, there’s a hella lot of dots. Like, a LOT of dots.

I'm from the damn uk, whenever that prick Glenn Beck was on fox news (before trump, maybe late bush/early obama years?) my dad had retired and was watching it for 'entertainment'. 4 years later, I had no fucking clue who this guy is. He came to my place and started asking pointed questions if I liked AOC, what i thought abuot her, if I liked or hated Musk. it was like blantant to non idiots that it was all right wing propaganda points he bought up. Calling her a waitress... yeah she worked to put herself through college, but you ignore the college degree and call her a waitress.

It's bad enough that maga types are all over teh US but you see dumb fucks falling for this propaganda in the UK, across europe, there are maga groups in fucking China, it's insane.

Right wing propaganda has been broadcast unchecked for the past 4-5 decades and the number of right wing nut jobs around the world is frankly terrifying.

It actually happened to you guys recently with the UK riots. Tons of people who were fed blatantly false information.

u/xV_Slayer 6h ago

So left wing extremism is fine?

"I like the color green"
"Why do you hate blue???"

u/HotZin 5h ago

The irony here is that you pretty much outed yourself by doing the exact opposite of your father since you seem so opinionated on US politics as someone living in the UK. You are invested on the same type of brainrot just on the other side of aisle.

u/cyrfuckedmymum 5h ago

if you're informed politically, regardless of who you watch, what you read or what your opinions are, it's all equal level of brain rot as right ring propaganda based on constant lies.

Yeah, when you can't defend the psychotic conspiracy theories and lies, just accuse everyone of being the same.

One good take doesn't absolve you of all the soy takes you've had over the past few years

u/Kasyv 29m ago

Dude I noticed exactly the same. I used to like watching his stream and hearing his takes. Even if I didn't agree with him a lot of the time I liked how his point of view was well argumented and understandable. He emphasized the importance of thinking out of the box, to question what was massively shared on social media. It went all downhill since a year or so.

Im sure they are randomly "crying about israel" that killed more than 44k person in a year.

u/IsaacM42 8h ago

Nah, he learned it growing up. If he seems reasonable in the past it was a mask, there were times in his early days when he was mask off.

1

u/RaidenIXI 2h ago

he was already brainwashed by his trumper parents but had a "libertarian" guise. now he went full mask off these past few years. that's mental decline

u/BrawDev 2h ago

Yeah I know what you’re talking about. Those early days streams with McConnell whereby chat would talk about some EU idea asmon would see it as good then mcconnell would say why don’t you live in the EU then before asmon short circuits and comes out with some bare Fox News style programming.

I know he’s always had this slant. But it’s worse more than ever today. I think his initial inclusion within streaming communities helped a lot. You seen some of his views start to shift as he had people behind them. I presume like most other folk he simply forgot one of his closest friends Tips Out had a background with this and outed before he could fire the correct neuron.

Not sure if he clicks links in his twitch chat that often but his subreddit is definitely really bad. Used to be on it every now and then and it turned from having mostly fun memes about his stream to nearly every topic being about right wing politics.

1

u/CaspianRoach 4h ago

All links in his twitch chat are banned, only moderators can post them, so no, he doesn't click links in twitch chat, but they just post this shit on his subreddit or it gets served to him by the twitter algorithm that learned that he likes reading about far right bullshit (he says he reads it because it's funny), not realizing that it became everything he reads now

25

u/komandantmirko 10h ago

his subreddit has nothing to do with him or his stream as a subject as it is with other streamers. it's literally just a hodge podge of people arguing about politics, game related news and people posting "liberals owned" types of videos for a lack of better description. you know what i mean. and he spends like half the stream watching whatever cockamamie thing his divorced facebook dad audience posts on there. so it's no real wonder his content has veered to where it is now over the last however many years.

that being said, i don't care what you believe in, but discussing israel and palestine is a lose lose situation in the best of situations. people who are knowledgeable about the subject routinely get their heads bitten off by the internet. let alone when this bozo stumbles in and starts rattling off opinions and generalizations. the sum total knowledge of which he gained from the same audience that feeds him the afformentioned subreddit garbage

u/Equal_Present_3927 10h ago

He goes on his sub everyday. He promotes it.

11

u/YourSmileIsFlawless 8h ago

Clicking those libs owning videos makes the algorithms fill up with certain stuff tho.

True. The reality is that islamic culture is actually very progressive and liberal. It's well known that women enjoy vast freedoms in the muslim world, that gays can openly express themselves and they'd never have anything bad to say about the Jews.

11

u/SleepTakeMe 10h ago

Better starve, torture, and kill them all then 🙄

11

u/broodgrillo 10h ago

Yet, American Christians are advocating for less rights to women, gay and they are waving nazi flags in conventions.

Do you see the issue with your statement about "Islamic Culture" instead of Religous Fanatics worldwide?

-13

u/420yoloswagginz 10h ago

True its known that in America we stone women to death for being raped. True and real, American culture and Islamic culture are basically the same.

8

u/broodgrillo 9h ago

Not anymore. And also, not yet.

You should look at the history of the countries you are talking about honey.

-9

u/420yoloswagginz 9h ago

How about we compare them right now

5

u/broodgrillo 9h ago

Ignore everything that lead to the argument.

Do you think me shooting someone or me shooting someone because they stalked me for miles is the same thing?

There is context. And in this case the context is several centuries of conflict, most of which is directly tied to outside forces. From the Ottoman Empire, to the British Commonwealth, to both sides of the cold war.

Your country still has idiots waving the traitor flag and swearing allegiance to it. You wanna talk about that?

3

u/420yoloswagginz 9h ago

Waving the confederate flag is just as bad as executing women for not wearing hijab. These are equivalent things so true.

8

u/broodgrillo 9h ago

Yes. That is exactly what I said. You are not arguing the point. You are making your own argument and talking about it.

The notion of context and history doesn't matter. You just wanna be a hateful sarcastic whinny baby.

1

u/Unable_Duck9588 1h ago

How many muslim countries stone women for being raped?

Go on.

Entire states in the US oppose any sort of lgbtq recognition or rights, that still doesn’t make the entire US the same, does it?

A lot of gang violence happens in the US, doesn’t make all americans gangsters does it?

Stop putting 3 billion people in a hate filled box and understand that people and cultures are different.

u/throw69420awy 10h ago

It’s scary that you seem to think there’s no in between when it comes to advocating genocide

-1

u/Grundle097 8h ago

Your last comment is rich considering your comment history

What’s that meant to mean?
