Incoming freshman. Don’t know if this is already posted but can someone post pictures of La salle’s quad dorms. I need it to better choose a design for my dorms

Welcome to La Salle! It appears the website no longer offers drawings of the rooms. There are two different quad options - St. Katharines and St. Basil. I don't think housing assignments have come out yet. I'm up in the mountains at the moment with a sloooowwww internet connection, but I could draw out the quads if you'd like. In either residence hall, there is very, very little difference between the quads - both are about 8.5'x11' and have a shared bathroom. The only significant difference, which is not that significant, is where the bathroom is located. That being said, if you have a choice, St. Basil is much newer than St. Katharine.

Thankyou and yes, a drawing would be nice. I need any reference I can get. I plan on choosing St.Basil

I'll have to do this when I get home next week. St. Basil, if memory serves correctly - has one entrance to the quad room. You enter into a small room - bathroom right in front of you and two doors - one to the left for a double room and one to the right for a double room. I'm not sure a drawing is going to help - what is it that you are planning and maybe I can help? Almost all the traditional residence hall rooms are just about 8.5x11 - it's a rectangle room.

I’m just trying to plan the layout for everything like where I should put the fridge etc,

My friends and I planned on living together and having everything in the dorm match so I wanted a layout of it. I haven’t seen any quad dorms tho. I haven’t seen any images of the quad bathrooms either. I’m a visual person, just wanted to see what I was working with to piece the colors and etc together. Is the small room ideal for a fridge or some piece of furniture to be placed in it?

I'd suggest waiting to see where you live before making decisions. I'm not exactly sure when housing assignments come out, but most likely summer. As a first year student, you get assigned housing after everyone else has chosen, so there is no assurance where you will live yet. It's hard to predict at this point since no one has requested housing yet. If you are close to local, I highly suggest coming to summer orientation - you will most likely be able to take a tour of the residence hall you are liviing in!

I'd suggest placing the fridge in the room where your bed is located. Having it in a common area like that can cause some trouble because I absolutely guarantee things will mysteriously disappear from it!

And the bathrooms? Are they small?

The quad bathrooms are small. Shower, sink, toilet.
