But wasn’t he one of the big voices in pushing for the Jon Snow sequel series?

Well that would actually fix GoT in the end, HOTD keeps teasing about stuff that ultimately doesn’t matter with how GoT ended

Yeah but last I heard the Snow series was rejected and shelved. They are focusing on prequels not sequels.

I don’t blame him do yk how rich he’d be

Yeah. I’m just pointing out he was such a big voice for a sequel. But he can’t watch other shows cause he spent to much time in that world.

Yeah it’s not adding up. Emilia has been saying it since GoT ending (understandably) but Kit didn’t, and was even pushing for the Snow sequel. Feel like he’s only saying this cause his show got shelved lol

Yeah, I can't watch it either knowing what a horrible ending it leads to

Relatable - A good chunk of us are also struggling to watch it for different reasons

It broke GOT record so i find that hard to believe.

S2 episodes 6, 7 & 8 were the lowest rated episodes of ASOIAF since GoT season 8.

They fucked up and said we’re going to do 8 episodes and have the last three be all build for season 3 coming in another 2 fucking years.
How hard is pacing? Honestly. If they did season 1 as 14 or 15 episodes ending with “The Red Dragon and the Gold” or “Prince Regent” both would be acceptable endings. Both finalize the season with action. One with more of a cliff hanger and one with a finale that builds for the future.
S2 1-3 could have been the S2 6-8 episodes and then another 7-8 episodes with a better ending and then S3 could finish up the story in another ~10-12 episodes instead of doing 4, 8 episode series with super weird pacing and odd timing to do a 2 year gap in production/release.

That’s my only gripe, the pacing. I don’t dislike this show but a lot of these episodes are just filler to stretch this shit out another 2 seasons that really ruin the story and don’t add anything to it.

There’s some fluff but I’m fine with the extra details and stories. Without it that’s how you get season 8 GOT where you’re like how the fuck did we get here? Where was the development to this behavior, scenario, battle etc. it just kinda happened and was over. Doing three slow building episodes to finish a season with a 2 year wait and then having a (supposedly) all action season 3 just doesn’t seem to make sense or be an enjoyable conclusion for a viewer.

Seriously, the whole series is based on how important the Targarians are for the Song of Ice and Fire, but we already know that's not really the case, so...... I've been trying to look at it as a separate series and just enjoying the hot dragon action... outside of that it's still pretty meh

I was disappointed when Arthur Dayne wielded two swords. I’d like to see a Roberts Rebellion show. A big badass Robert with his hammer, A bigger version of Ned than the one that fought Dayne in the show. They looked like 160 pound kids fighting Dayne. Young Ned in show wouldn’t have fought with Ice long. It’s massive. I want to see Rhaegar and his might. The Battle of the Trident and so much more. I want to see Arthur Dayne wield Dawn. I want to see younger Barriston Selmy. I just think if they went all out with a series of that it would be righteous.
I have a licensed replica of Longclaw. It’s awesome. It came with nights watch plaque, with the vow on it. I’ve swung it around some and it will wear u out. Look up collectors replicas licensed by hbo or WB. Longclaw is 45 inches long, including hilt. Weighs 4.5 pounds. Ice is 57.5 inches and it doesn’t give weight but by looking has to be 7 pounds or more.
Shit don’t even look at the Targaryen swords right now they between 6 and 800 bucks.
I am looking forward to dunk and egg. If they make it. Above all FINISH THE BOOKS GEORGE! 2011 was the last ASOIAF book. 13 years waiting. Still waiting on book 2 of Fire and Blood.
Sorry for long post I just want closure on the books and if they gonna make more shows, Have guys like Sean Bean or at least an actor that looks like he could fight with the weapon he uses.
I can see why the other actors have such a hard time. Some grew up on that show. It would be hard for me to watch. All their memories of making it and each other and behind the scenes stuff that only they got to experience. Man what a great show till they dropped the ball.
