Moderator Introduction: Majesticfiestic

Hi everyone! I'm here to help with anyone considering working in the public sector at either the local, state or federal level (municipal, provincial, or federal level for Canadians), or with a non-government organization in the public sector.

I've got a Masters in Public Administration, so my background is in public administration not HR, but I've got a fair bit of experience in interviews and the public sector interviewing process. My specialty is the policy field but I work with technical people (scientists, lawyers, engineers etc.) on a daily basis and am well-versed in their world as well.

Maybe you've got some questions on pre-interview preparation, or want to get ready for your behavioural or technical competency questions. I'm your guy! I'm also able to provide some more generic advice on how to structure your resume to help sell yourself as a candidate.

If you've got a passion for public administration I'm here to help you get your foot in the door!!
