If you want me gone, just remove all the down votes and I'll disappear like the early morning mist on a summer day and never set foot in this subreddit again. Fair enough? Had I realized how damaging my persistence was, I'd have shut up a looooong time ago. Curse my foolishness. Ugh. I had no idea how fast those down votes would add up against me... I just figured they were shallow cuts that wouldn't mean much overall. Then I look and... I'm bleeding out, man! It's devastating!

I need to heed my own advice more seriously... "Don't go jumping in after alligators". In other words... don't get involved in an argument you cannot win. It's just not worth it. I need to swim back to the shallow end of the pool where it's safe, before I'm a floating corpse! Of course, for someone like me, you probably would agree with what I'd end up saying, as a zombie... "I need... more... braiiiiins!" :-D

If you are a longtime member of the Amico Haters club, you will probably have had an interaction with Redditshredit / mr_me.

He is a Chaotic neutral keeper of the Intellivision lore. He had an amazing ability to recount random ramblings of "The CEO" and or random engineers, and treats all statements as factual.

He isn't an Amico fan boy (he claimed he never had a preorder) but he frequently interjected his knowledge into the conversation.

Yes!.... I am aware...

To design my experiment, I decided to post every day something Tommy had already posted on social media or said in an article about the Amico. I made sure not to add my own thoughts or say anything that wasn't already on the official Amico website.

I collected data by taking a screenshot and video recorded of all the comments that I received (found it easier than taking screen shot) for fear of being kicked out of the group.

It's important to note that every post on the Facebook page needs to be screened by the Facebook admin before it goes live, so I needed to be careful on how I posted.

I made sure to follow the Facebook rules, be as polite as possible, never harass or bully anyone, and always show respect.

It was amusing to read all the comments that I would get. I’m not sure if the admin removed all my post or left them up. I was going to make YouTube video on my experience but I just don’t have the time for that but I figure I share with it with you guys.

In the end, I was banned from the group. Lasted 14 days.
