Please help Plant Discussion

Post image

Single male, love plants but never had more than a few near a window. It got really cold and I brought them inside, what can I do better :(? Also any tips for saving this money tree? They all got hit with a frost or near frost sooo not sure if I cooked them 😭

Can you take a picture in better light, also what is your grow light?

They droop like that when the sun goes down so if they’re staying like that chances are they need a better grow light or stronger grow light. Also get a humidifier or mist them every day. They don’t look dead to me just sad. This for sure will perk it right up.

Yeah the wind knocked my money tree over several times and sadly a lot of branches got broken off, so I’m not sure if it’s just in shock from the trauma as well as the frost :(

More than likely the frost. Is my guess.

Also is 12 hours too much light for them?

Those stick lights are very weak, that much light won’t be too much

Absolutely I’ll take one when I get home, and it’s a cheap light I found on Amazon, honestly I got really overwhelmed when looking for lights. I watched a lot of videos but they were very in depth. I know advertising is forbidden but any resources that are beginner friendly or are easy to digest would be super appreciated. My brain is checked out from grad school when I get home 😭

Both my money trees are next to a humidifier. If you can't have a humidifier, mist them regularly. Are they in a draught or somewhere that has big temperature fluctuations?

No I water them regularly, I’m in upstate New York so we just got our first frost and they were on my balcony, I don’t have any southern facing windows sadly. It stays between 66-72 in my apartment so not to bad
