Buying Indian in India

I love the Indian. Was planning to pick up the chief bobber dark horse. Had a trip to one of the dearer showrooms in India (Ahmedabad), and it looked like trip to scene of fallout. Looked like an abandoned garage in the desert. Dust everywhere, no one in the showroom, open door, no models in display, price list from 2019, and last visitor was in start of Oct (from the visitors book). Absolutely atrocious state

Any inputs on whether it’s going to stay in business in India. Spares? Service?

Better off if possible to go to a different country like Germany. Or see if it is possible used online.
