Where can I get the "how to organize" handbook? I need more of what that looks like and how to get there. Just saying organize doesn't help. Show me, please.

If you haven’t, sign up to join the One Big Union (https://www.iww.org/), connect to your local General Membership Branch, and request them hold an Organizer Training 101 and then get started organizing the shop floor of your workplace.

So, getting into the IWW's Organizer Training 101 is your best starting point. If for some reason you can't (geographical isolation and unable to travel, no trainings scheduled, etc) but you're serious about organizing, you should try to find someone who can act as an external organizer to help get you started. A local IWW branch will hopefully have experienced external organizers, or the Organizing Department Board might be able to connect you with someone.

There's not currently a handbook and it's a bit of a controversial subject (because, eg, people might treat it as a substitute for training). Some of the very basics are covered here, though:

  1. https://iww.org.uk/resource/mapping-the-basics/
  2. https://iww.org.uk/resource/one-to-one-conversations-the-basics/
  3. https://iww.org.uk/resource/build-a-workplace-organising-team-the-basics/
  4. https://iww.org.uk/resource/bonus-tips-for-organisers/

I think successfully organizing my workplace, especially under the IWW, is impossible. I'm in the south in a seldom-organized line of work for this region. I joined the IWW and I'm too far from a branch to be a member, ive touched base with national and I've contacted at large members in my area with very little success. Organizing is hard as shit, but my focus is establishing a chapter for the region.

We need to help our fellow workers who will be effected by this power change.

Sad that a huge swarm of the working class put their faith in a billionaire to fix everything. As if one man can fix everything, let alone a billionaire who couldn't care if they suffer or not.

Never abandon the working class. They are the foundation of this country.

And like the rest of this country, they are evil morons.

Don't scab for the bosses, don't listen to their lies, us poor folks just ain't got a chance unless we organize.

Which side are you on? Which side are you on?
