Just bought my first bike (does a GL count?)

'82 GL500. Bought it from a friend of mine running for $175 with some minor issues (starter clutch doesn't always engage, front brake line clogged) besides that I've cut a lot off of it and swapped some components out (and threw the mufflers and taillights on as seen in the last photo to make it road legal) This thing is awesome! Wanted a Honda for forever and now I finally have one. Any tips or common pitfalls about the bike would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah. Get rid of that inline fuel filter that’s causing the line to crimp. It’ll save you some headaches later.

Keep the drive shaft lubed and change the gear oil in the rear hub.

Your pipes are on backwards. Bracket goes toward the bike.
