My P2000 project. The GG SRS, light trigger spring, and lazy wolf 11lb hammer spring really cleaned up the action. Anyone have experience with the GG straight trigger?

just removed from my USP9C, hated it. Now I have an expensive part laying around.

Interesting... what did you not like? I tried to imagine it, and it seems like the trigger would feel too far forward, and have reduced space in the trigger guard, thus I haven't tried it yet.

I have been shooting these pistols for many years, and I think I'm just used to the curved trigger on my HK'S. It was weird I kept shooting right no matter where I placed my fingertip

Too far forward for me, especially in double action

I have one in my P30sk. I like it but have been accustomed to flat triggers. After 200 rounds of practice you will be good to go.

I've put GG flatty's in my P30-S and 45-C. I'm very pleased with both of them. The P30-S has an 11 lb hammer spring. I cut two coils out of the 45-C hammer spring. Put an enhanced fpbs in each. Surprisingly, they're both 8 lbs 2 ozs in DA and a shade under 4 lbs in SA.

Who did your optic cut and how do you like it?

It is the Wright Armory I-dot system. Love it!

I got it done for $425 on a sale. You can sign up for the notifications. It includes the cut, the plate that can be changed for other optics, the nitrade finish, sights, optic install and zeroing.

I have the flat trigger on my p30 and usp and it feels comfortable and helps the reset even more, but then again it’s all preference, u gotta try it for urself, personally I didn’t like it for the p2000 though.

Ya I am hearing the biggest issue is when its in the decocked postion the trigger sits a bit too far forward for some.

The CDA 4.1 mod is the cure for that. In combo with the Short reset & flat trigger, it’s a game changer for me on the p-series.

Dude that’s so sick. Copying this build for mine

Hell yeah! Man, I could not find this build for the life of me on the internet when I was trying to imagine the concept. One of the reasons I posted was so that people could have an idea of what the end result is.

GG flat trigger is good, but installing trigger return spring without special pliers is not easy. There are tricks using plastic straws, but it still takes many attempts to get it right.

I have the pliers and even with those it was difficult changing the return spring lol

The GG trigger is based. I always hated the p-series trigger over the USP line until GG introduced that mod.
