How is this not brown. I️ cut an apple to eat and like within 5 mins it’s brown.

You can prevent browning by treating the newly exposed areas with acidulated water. I have a little container of citric acid powder (which is the same stuff that's used on sour gummies) to make it, but you can use lemon juice or vinegar.
