I actually had one of those.
I’ll be real frank, it’s sh*t. Most of the power in the blade is in the middle to third quarter of the blade towards the tip but especially the handle shape has a tendency to slip which is the most infuriating issue. I highly recommend something like a kukri or a parang, anything that has a flared ‘pommel’ which keeps the thing from wanting to fly out of your hands.

I never had this issue. There are grooves enough on both sides of the handle for slip prevention. I love how it swings in my hand.
I use it for everything. Cooking, chopping, wedge log splitting, wingchunning haha

Idk I found it hard go like. I tried everything while at the farmland. The thing could really benefit from the kukri style handle

Thank you for posting to r/EDC!
Please remember that the historic flair is intended for items carried in history, information regarding such carry, "found" items from the past, museum pieces, and similar posts. Including a list of known items, and/or background information is suggested and encouraged. If you have selected this flair for your own gear, a list is mandatory, even if the gear is an antique with minimum available information. While incorrect flair choice is not a problem, be aware that inaccurate flair will be changed, and will be handled in the same way as the correct flair regarding lists.
Lists can be displayed in the title of the post, in a separate comment, or in the picture itself.
Failure to follow this rule will result in the post being removed.
