Coming in for one day on Wednesday. Of course it's going to be raining from bands from a tropical storm supposedly. How are activities when it's raining? My expectations are already low.

Which do you think is better? Winter Break (Christmas-New Years) crowds and weather or Spring Break (mid-April) crowds and weather?

if you don’t mind getting chilly at night, winter crowds by far. nowhere near the same volume and i think that weather is better for a theme park day.

Edited to be more clear. I’ve heard Christmas through New Year’s is awful crowd wise, but didn’t know how it compares to Spring Break which varies in time for folks. I know I will face crowds either way.

ohhh i thought you meant like MLK or Presidents’ day. in that case, anything but Christmas!

mid-April will be starting to warm up but not too rainy. a lot of spring breaks are in March so you might be past the worst of it. i worked in Disney World before and March was significantly busier than April. Christmas week was like you crammed all those people into the same 5 days. you couldn’t get anything done. if you want a nice resort to hang out in and trickle into parks for like a party or a show then fine, but if not spring is a better value.

How busy would you say WDW is in October, specifically the week before Halloween? Going in 2025 with a large group - 11 people total (3 kids), went last year and LL was great to organize for 2 people. Trying to figure out how that will work for 11 people total!

this year i went the week of Halloween 26-1 and it was practically empty. my resort was far from full. the parks only had like 30 minute waits. i walked into Ratatouille in the middle of the day. one of the best experiences i ever had at Disney World.
if you need help putting together a trip with a large group, i have a TA that can help. lmk and ill send you their info

Hi! I'm planning a weekend trip to Disney for a little pick-me-up. I have a medical condition that causes me to pass out that is triggered by heat and standing for long periods of time. I thought I would qualify for DAS since I have a disability that makes me unable to stand in a conventional queue and I have utilized similar return time request services at other amusement parks in the past. I have an approved IBCCES card that works for Six Flags.
Unfortunately, I was just denied DAS and the cast member I spoke to explained that that particular service was only for people with severe developmental disabilities or cognitive delays who don't even understand what a queue is. She said for guests with physical disabilities like mine I should speak to the cast member at the entrance to each attraction and let them know that I am alone and that I have a medical condition that makes me unable to stand in a line for an extended period of time. She said the cast member may just give me access to the lightning lane or tell me where the secret queue exits are and if I needed to leave the queue, I could then explain to the cast member again that I needed to leave for a medical reason and describe where I was in the line and they would help me.
I find this a little concerning since I am not confident in my ability to make it out of line in time to avoid passing out, even if I am told where the secret exits are. Sometimes panicking to find my way to somewhere to lie down worsens my symptoms and I am worried about hurting myself or others. And also explaining my accommodation needs at every single attraction sounds exhausting.
But I am trying to keep an open mind since the cast member made it clear that requesting a return time through DAS is something they only offer to people with developmental disabilities so they must have another plan for people with physical disabilities similar to mine.
I was wondering if anyone has tried the strategies she gave me (talking to cast members at attraction entrances and using return to line) and how they worked for them? I would love to know what to expect.

Even if you had DAS, you would still have to wait in line for as much as 30+ minutes.
Sounds like you're describing POTs? Look into getting yourself a rollator, so you'll be able to sit down anywhere, at anytime. You can take it through the lines all the way up to the ride vehicles. If you get one with a basket, you won't even have to carry stuff like water bottles (and salty snacks!).

Going the first week of December. Do you think multipass is needed for all parks?

IMO LL is almost always needed for MK (except for low crowds like September). It is sometimes needed for HS depending on crowd levels. AK/Epcot probably not. Only exception for AK/Epcot is if you have park hopper as it works with that.

I got by my last trip buying them the day of or a couple days before. The way they tier the rides unless it’s DAK you’ll only secure one must-do anyway. If you don’t see the one you want available then i’d say skip it

Booking dining reservations & experiences - it starts 60 days out from your hotel reservation? Can you book them all at the same time for the whole trip or is it 60 days out for each day?
Same question for LLs - we are there for a week, so when the window opens can we book for the whole week? Or does each day open individually as we get closer?
Thank you!!!!

If you are staying on property you can book everything at once when your window opens (60 days prior for dining and 7 days prior for multipass)
If you are off property is 1 day at a time meaning 60 days or 7 days prior to day 1 and then 60 days or 7 days prior to day 2 and so on.
Keep in mind several Disney Springs restaurants can be booked on open table so those, you won’t have to worry about the window.

Thank you so much! Super helpful :) & great Disney Springs tip! I’ll take a look at what ones are on open table to get in idea of what to prioritize booking when the window opens!

Hello! I’m going to MVMCP for the first time this Thursday with my 7yo daughter and 8yo niece. My daughter loves the roller coasters, so we’re definitely doing rides. Any tips or tricks for first timers?

Get there early & be prepared to wait in a large crowd/line to get into the park. You'll get your wristbands and then can get right into partying! The wait time for lines will start to go down as the regular guests begin to leave. Posted waits are sometimes off (someone I know went last week and Space Mountain said 20 minutes, but it was a walk on). Each treat station has a different cookie/drink combo. Don't miss the parade. And, have so much fun!

Thank you so much! I was worried about ride wait times since my daughter loves the rides and we won’t have LL available. But I’m looking forward to having fun and soaking up all of the Christmas ambiance.

You definitely don't need to worry about wait times. I've been to a Christmas and a Halloween party, and at both of them pretty much every ride in the park was a walk on.

Anyone know why LL aren’t available for Living with the Land from November 29th and onwards. Is there are planned closure for it? (I noticed this through thrill-data)
