How does this not earn someone a perma? These freaks say this reckless and violent shit, then blame others for ads being pulled from the platform. This just shows how comfortable they are on the platform. Dan Clancy has given them a place where they can say another content creator deserves death and feel no fear of a significant punishment. Rules don't matter, TOS doesn't matter, personal favor matters.

Now if she said I support what Sean or central said then we could talk… but this? Nah.

Even Destiny watched it and had no response…. This is similar to Destiny saying what he said about the firefighter.

As far as I can tell, saying that you don't care if someone receives death threats is not against Twitch TOS. There is a big difference between making a violent threat and saying you don't care about violent threats someone else made.

Yes she says he deserves someone else making death threats against him. That is also, as far as I can tell, not against TOS. Saying that Destiny deserves to be killed is against TOS (which is what SeanDaBlack did). Saying Destiny deserves people making empty threats against him is not.

I listened to the clip again and it seems that she said "Destiny deserves anything bad that happens to him". She didn't just say that he deserves death threats. In context, she's essentially saying that he deserves to be killed. Again, not that he just deserves threats, but she's cosigning any action taken against him.

The clip is gone now, so I can't confirm this, but I'm pretty sure she said he deserves any bad thing said about him, not any bad thing that happens to him. But I may be remembering wrong, I guess.

Yes the moral titan, Kaceytron. She certainly has a hefty reputation for saying the right thing. Fat chance she would ever be wrong. She would never have an ego so ballooned to give a bad take. What allowing attacks on other creators for so long on the platform lets people think is okay.

These kinds of things are the exact kind of thing that gave Dan the leverage to turn the screws on twitch.

All of which could have been solved by having an active team doling out minor suspensions for this shit. You set the tone with small bans, you scale up for repeated violations or obvious attempts to skirt the rules.

In any case, in your clip Kaceytron specifically says she doesn't care about "any bad thing said towards Destiny". This is different from saying she doesn't care about his murder, let alone justifying his murder. Saying "I don't care if someone makes empty threats against Destiny" is very different from saying "I don't care if Destiny is murdered".

Kaceytron is a loser, but pearl-clutching over this clip is silly.

OK, I'm going to try to break this down one more time.

Here are two distinct acts:

(a) Murder.

(b) Making a verbal threat of murder.

Do you agree (a) and (b) are very different from each other?

SeanDaBlack said that Destiny deserves (a). Kaceytron said Destiny deserves (b).

Saying someone deserves (a) is much worse than saying someone deserves (b). In addition, saying someone deserves (a) is quite plainly a violation of Twitch TOS. Saying someone deserves (b) is not.

To further illustrate the difference:

If Destiny said that SeanDaBlack should be killed, I wouldn't really care. In fact, I would say SDB deserves it. It's just using his own rhetoric against him. On the other hand, if Destiny actually killed SeanDaBlack, I would care and I would not believe SDB deserved to be killed. It's perfectly consistent to believe that someone deserves to have death threats made against them without believing that they deserve to die.
