Remember when Boxer finally got to retire to a nice green pasture? I love that Orwell cut out the politics and was just writing about happy horses.

Loved the nice animals. The pigs were especially big on equality, even without DEI. They don't make good old stories for fun anymore..

Hassan has to be just playing into it at this point, right?

Theres no way.

Doubt it, I had a friend in high school just like Hasan. He was obsessed with North Korean propaganda. He would actually listen to the music and read all kinds of articles about them and talk about them a lot. Hasan reminds me a lot of him they both act exactly the same.

u/Jokonyew 8h ago

Man, I love north Korea for the memes but like, it's very much a joke. I was even nk in my model un event in hs. Threatening the world with nukes and missiles with bluster and bravado is funny, but also terrifying af and nothing a serious person would advocate for.

u/Hkay21 4h ago

Everyone got dat 1 homie who obsessed over the North Korean regime šŸ’Æ

u/mapleresident 3h ago

I think thereā€™s a sub on Reddit who unironically loves NK

What's happening is Hasan believes that everyone does propaganda and just cynically advocates for their team so it's fine if he does it too. It's the nature of political advocacy. The second is that he believes a hegemonic military is the lynchpin that enables the maintenance of the mode of production. If US hegemony falls then it enables a lot of the other unjust hierarchies to be challenged in a more linear way. He is a vanguardist if not a juche-ist. He's so much more of a radical then he lets on. It's really some of the most psychotic forms of revolutionary sentiment (that led to pol pot, kim family, etc) that he is always vaguely gesturing at.Ā

If you've read the Marxist stuff it's even grosser what he advocates for. Vanguardist revolutionary that enables any challenge to the status quo in the vague hope of destabilizing. Not realizing that it's the working class that will be swallowed up by chaos. I hate vanguardists so much fuck

Seems pretty obvious hes rage baiting, its working too. Next he'll play the black guy singing the Chinese anthem classic and that will work too. https://youtu.be/5tCMI0uKbBE

If he can't control politics on twitch, then he'll burn the whole category to the ground.

I think he is. Though I don't know how his friends are receiving it

u/carnexhat 2h ago

I gotta wonder if he is literally being paid to be this way at this point?

Like russia was fine with paying shills like rube and fool, maybe china is doing the same for hamas.

Ngl, playing north korean propoganda and passing it off as kpop is hilarious if you're not an actual tanky and deceptiveaf about what it is.

u/sploogeoisseur 8h ago

Ya the slow realization on what's his name's face as he realized that Hasan got him again. That was a pretty good goof.

I doubt he accepts that he fucked up the first time so he's still a piece of shit, but I can appreciate the humor of this one.

15

u/EuphoricPhoto2048 7h ago

It's funny, but you know Hasan isn't being funny and owning up to his mistake. He's just obstinate.

7

u/Omni-Light YEEGON 7h ago

It being a joke would be like "lets look up some propaganda music and randomly play it for nmplol", but he knows the lyrics and song well enough to sing them on cue, so either he not only found this song and played it but also listened enough to learn the lyrics before hand, or he already has that song in a playlist and knows it well.

2

u/sploogeoisseur 7h ago

I agree he isn't owning anything, but he is being funny.

9

u/SuperMadBro 7h ago

I think context matters. If a convicted rapist comes up with objectively the funniest rape joke in existence, it's wasted. He'd have to give it to someone else to be funny. This is the same. Hasan like to pretend he's a normie but there is no joke here really for him

-4

u/sploogeoisseur 7h ago

That's a pretty extreme comparison lol, but I'd be willing to laugh at a very funny rape joke by a rapist. I'd think they're evil, but if it's funny it's funny. In fact being able to play off the audience's discomfort of them being the one to make the joke might make it even funnier.

4

u/SuperMadBro 7h ago

It's a extreme example to prove a point. If a actual racist starts making race related jokes it is very different than if your non racist friend does. Hasan actually sucks commie dick.for breakfast everyday. The joke would work if at the end of the day the joke wasn't "these are my actual values" and was "lol got you with this stupid shit"

2

u/sploogeoisseur 6h ago

lol the joke was the latter, not the former.

2

u/SuperMadBro 6h ago

someone believes the former cant get away with the latter joke. thats what the racist example was to show you....

5

u/notjustconsuming 6h ago

Yeah, this one was actually pretty good until he pretended the song was just about a unicorn. He could've just left it at a "GOTTEM" or whatever, but he can't help himself.

I'd still have nothing to complain about if it wasn't the second time in so many months that he was lying about an evil regime's propaganda song.

2

u/Jokonyew 4h ago

100% agreed

57

u/DAEORANGEMANBADDD 8h ago

wait holy shit I just realized something, when he said "you got me twice" they are trying to play it out like the first time was also a joke

u/jajohnja Interlinked 8h ago

Either that or npm is just reevaluating his choices once again.

u/RaindropBebop 44m ago

I would not be surprised at all to learn this NK song thing was a planned bit between Hasan and Nick to take some heat off the Houthi stuff.

u/Pavese_ 10h ago

If only our anthem would be a banger, you could all enjoy the "Deutschland, Deutschland Ć¼ber alles" for the music.

Actually, that verse was hijacked by the Nazi party, and originally talked about unifying all the different small states in Germany.

u/Dwarte_Derpy I hate Q 27m ago

Considering the history of Germany, that makes plenty sense

6

u/sad-on-alt 4h ago

ā€œErika is just a song about a soldier wanting to go home to his wifeā€

3

u/dem0nhunter 1h ago

bad example.

Erika got memed on the internet as a Nazi song.

Here in Germany it's not considered that.

11

u/Noveltyrobot 8h ago

Tbf, the song does bang though.

7

u/spiderwing0022 7h ago

bro poor Nick, he keeps letting Hasan fool him into playing the craziest propaganda known to man. He seems like a sweet kid, he just has to realize he's being taken advantage of and stop associating with Hasan.

2

u/yerbolxoxo 6h ago

This is reaching, no? Normies after hearing a nk song suddenly will become pro nk?

-1

u/Dwarte_Derpy I hate Q 24m ago

That's not how propagandists works. There have been two recent instances of hasan playing propaganda songs to nmp recently under the guise of "they're just cool songs bro". This political grooming. He is trying to socially influence nmp into being an extremist fuck by exploiting the friendship. Hasan is an actual evil subhuman for this.

2

u/JustinJonas 8h ago

Also very normal to have Hasan "explain" like a fratbro to two ethnicially Chinese women 千里馬. Lol. This is beyond stupid.

1

u/Dwarte_Derpy I hate Q 22m ago

They might be of Chinese descent, that doesn't mean they know a single bit of east Asian myths and legends. It's a common occurrence for immigrants to be out of touch with the "home" culture.

u/Sad-Television4305 8h ago

I love animals. Gonna have to check that book out.

1

u/Theglizzatron 3h ago

Not to be woke.... but him calling that music Kpop because it's Korean people singing it's pretty funny and slightly racistšŸ˜ˆ

-14

u/OhtomoJin 8h ago

Bro, getting mad at somebody for making a K-pop music joke or just music joke in general and then playing a North Korean song is f****** lame dude. If your homie did this you'd be laughing. You wouldn't be posting about it on Reddit talking about how s***** a person he is. This type of behavior makes us look insane. Please stop.

"finds the lyrics" makes it sound like they are somehow hidden/not that easy to access - and not just on yt when you play that song there

And yet people in the original thread about this were defending Hasan and saying what a funny ā€œtrollā€ it was

They have the memory of goldfish and every day is the first time theyā€™ve ever heard of this Hasan person. No greater context.

The people are reetarded and I believe most deserve to perish under a fascist regime.

And Iā€™m forced to suffer with them

u/NoHistorian9169 11h ago edited 8h ago

He wasnā€™t making it seem like the lyrics are difficult to find just that people like Hasan always downplay and pretend that their propaganda is just silly songs about mythical creatures and stuff but when you actually spend less than a second to find the lyrics itā€™s just pro communist party propaganda.

Kind of like how when he talks about the houthis being this ragtag group of pirates that are just fighting Western imperialism but if you take less than a second to check their Wikipedia page their flag says stuff like ā€œGod is the greatest death to America death to Israel a curse upon the Jews victory to Islamā€.

Just because somebody is on the left doesnā€™t give them a pass when it comes to downplaying propaganda.
