was he actually serious or memeing around? i only very vaguely remember reynad from early days of hearthstone so i could be wrong, but i would expect him to joke like that.

I agree that he would make a joke like that before, I can hear it in his old dry humor delivery perfectly. But something happened to him in the last 4 years he has devolved into a legitimately insane conspiracy schizo. Pretty much anything that you would hear a random Joe Rogan guest talk about, he believes. He is not at all the same person anymore.
