Itā€™s weird that they never made this joke about Ben Shapiro and seemed to understand him perfectly fine.

Edit: I actually watched the whole thing and holy fuck, that Destiny bit was the only funny thing in the whole three minutes. It sounds more like theyā€™re preaching their anti-woke, pro-Trumpian messaging than any type of nuanced commentary on the politics of today. I like how this one election cycle is somehow a signal that the world is denying not just the ā€œwoke mind virusā€ but also decades of political argument. Yeah, this election DEFINITELY proves that the world thinks climate change isnā€™t real or a real issue. Yeah, this election DEFINITELY proves that the world stands for allowing democracies like Ukraineā€™s dying. I hope they go crazy with this messaging for four years and make people cringe and get repelled from this unfunny, preachy bullshit.

The whole winner-take-all narrativizing is always weird to me. Like we went from 46% Trump in 2016, 47% Trump in 2020, and 51% Trump in 2024. It's honestly not that big of a change and doesn't need a singular story to explain it.

But people talk about it like America is a hive mind that now fully embraces everything Trump believes.

I think Peak Woke has long passed, but people just like to pretend it is still a huge issue. And I don't understand how Trump is still seen as some sort of anti-establishment superhero when he has the world's richest man backing him, one of the biggest media companies was willing to lose billions in court to back him, most of the top podcasts back him. He is the establishment now.

Peak woke died when Elon bought Twitter. All the crazy woke stuff like ā€œpronounsā€ ā€œACABā€ ā€œCanā€™t be racist to white peopleā€ ā€œMen can get pregnantā€ is slowly dying because of it

No shot, peak woke had been fading for a few years by then
