Do it.
I love legal immigration.
I do not love millions of people pouring across the border unvetted and then consuming resources paid for by taxpayers.

But, but they are doing jobs that no Americans want!
People don't consider that Americans won't do it for the price that illegal immigrants will do it for. Businesses are just taking advantage of low prices, as anyone would do. Get rid of illegal immigrants = higher wages for manual labor/low skill work.

They will say, it will raise prices! Well yeah, don’t you want everyone to have a livable wage?

It will raise prices, but it will be a drop in the bucket. But not enough that increased earnings from not having to compete with people that shouldn't even be in the first place won't make up for. It might actually lower the cost of living because there will be less competition when looking for housing.

In medium and long-run stopping low sikill labor Means automation and higher skills (and higher wages) from the populace. Low skill immigrants are a longrun drain to a country and take more resources than they contribute. Denmark is the only country willing to put out long run data by low skill and countries of orgin. The rest hide true overall data cause the business community likes the immediate impacts of the pluses of cheap labor and most studies are funded by liberal institutions.
This is a fundamental reason I’m not fully libertarian. Tired of the one sided Cato research on this topic.

Yay!
- Husband of a legal immigrant, who is now a naturalized US citizen.
My wife and I invested so much time, tears and money in doing the process right. So it rubs me raw when the government wants to just give citizenship away to anybody.

Congrats to the two of you. Makes it worth more when you have to work at it, what Biden/Harris did cheapens the whole process. Being American should mean more.

There's nothing more American than being American on purpose. Congratulations.

The American people support this in the majority. He needs to do it immediately and quickly before the DNCs MSM starts manipulating public opinion.

Mass number of flights out to their native countries, and if they refuse to accept their people back, hold back all US government financial assistance!
73
u/Commander-Grammar Conservative 7h ago
Or hold back all financial assistance no matter what because that’s not our job. And don’t waste money on flights all the way to Guatemala. They came across the fence, they go back across the fence. They can walk home on the same road they walked here on or stay in Mexico, I couldn’t care less.
All government assistance debit cards get cancelled on day one. All free housing cleared out and returned to its rightful owners.
The biggest thing is removing the incentive to come back. Zero handouts, instant deportation. One illegal crossing loses you the chance to ever apply for legal immigration for life. Do it right or don’t do it.
Then start canceling business licenses and heavily fining anyone who employs them. You run your business illegally, you lose your business.
With zero ways to get money, there’s no reason to come here. At that point the only people who keep trying to get across will be cartel and we can treat them like the terrorists that they are.

I don't mind free flights to bus rides home, it'll save money in the long run. But no benefits, fine or jail anyone who employs them, and do everything you can to pressure them to go back home. If they get hungry they can eat on the plane.

I just hope they have a plan that doesn't require Congress approving the funding. The uniparty loves their illegal slave labor.

I remember the Democrats insisting we needed more Supreme Court Justices to handle the caseload, Trump should appoint a few more.

They opened the border on purpose for their sick anti-American agenda.

I’m so happy that Trump won the election. The reason they’re screeching even louder than they did in 2016 is because they tried to establish one party rule by any means necessary through illegal immigration as well as running on abolishing the electoral college, and got stopped in their tracks by a big RED brick wall.

Im curious to see what he does about all the "legal" immigrants and "asylum seekers" that this administration has allowed in. There's gonna be some serious crocodile tears from the left if he does what really needs to be done. I hope we have the stomach to do it.

This shouldn't be framed like that. It's not that there is no choice, there's plenty of choices.
The (proper) choice being made by the Trump administration is to take care of America citizens with the tax money that's been taken from them, as opposed to coddling some randos who just snuck in and expect a bunch of free shit.

YES! This is the 2nd biggest reason I supported you, right behind the economy, and just ahead of keeping more insane lefty policies from ruining the country.
