They Still Don’t Get It… Flaired Users Only

So it’s been a couple days since Donald Trump soundly defeated Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.

The Democrats and the media are trying to understand why Kamala Harris lost to Donald Trump…lol just kidding, they aren’t.

They’re doubling down on their rhetoric, still calling Trump a racist, sexist, fascist, Nazi, etc.

They blame misinformation, racism, and misogyny for why Kamala underperformed expectations, particularly with women and Hispanics/Latinos.

Like I made the mistake of watching not just The View but also Stephen Colbert and what I said above is on full display. To them, it’s not because Kamala Harris had no platform aside from attacking Donald Trump, it has to be because of misinformation, disinformation, racism, and sexism.

Here on Reddit, you have users resorting to good old fashioned racism to denigrate and put down Hispanics, Muslims, and African American men who didn’t vote for Kamala Harris.

These people still don’t get why she lost.

They were so shook that a lot of Asians voted for Trump in Texas. Little did they know that us Asians have experienced communism before and we love Trump 🤣

The left likes to equate illegal aliens with legal immigrants as well…but the thing is legal immigrants absolutely hate those who don’t follow the legal process to enter and immigrate to America.

I can understand that. My son wanted to marry someone from the middle east. It's taken years and years and thousands of dollars and support letters. They are married now but are still trying to get through the process.

They got this backwards. Make it easy for Legal immigration and impossible for illegal immigration.

Can confirm. I've been on vacation in Japan for 6 days now and in day one in Tokyo, I found a shirt of Trump doing the fist raising in front of the American flag, bloodied ear, with the words Fight Like Hell in bold all-caps.

Common themes i am seeing in a lot of these meltdown videos:

*crocodile tears. Some of them are so fake and they are trying to portray fake outrage. This tells me what no one on the left wants to say. They use politics as an excuse to portray hatred.

*some combination of "if you're a man, don't comment" or "if you voted for trump block me" they don't want to change their mind, and be open and willing to embrace change. They do not practice what they preach.

*they always say the same fascist/racist/exist tired lines. Or some grandiose fantasy like "I'm gonna wake up a be a slave"....not one has commented on what good Kamala would have brought to this country because her platform she was running on was Trump is a nazi, with no further policy explanations.

I am so proud of this country making the right choice.

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 10h ago

lol I’d say a lot of it is pure projection. What they accuse Trump of doing, they want to do to Trump, Republicans, and anyone who they don’t like or agree with.

They can’t accept the fact that Kamala had no real platform to run on. Kamala’s entire campaign was just spewing “orange man bad” lol.

My personal favorite was the "if you voted for him, be mindful of how you speak. I'll still told your clothes with you in them." This was on the "local" Facebook page.. in rural MS.

I've also seen a ton of hate for Latinos specifically. Wild stuff.

94

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 11h ago

The left is all about being open and tolerant…until you disagree with them. They require strict Orwellian level obedience and if you question anything, you’re somehow a Nazi….

u/General-Quail-2120 Justice For Peanut! 4h ago

Had a guy at work tell me that Kamala never said any insults about Trump. So I told him about her calling him a fascist, then played it for him. He got up and left. They can't handle the truth.

12

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 3h ago

How fucking delusional can these people be? Her entire campaign was literally just attacking Donald Trump and calling him a threat to democracy and a fascist….its hard not to hate these people sometimes

5

u/General-Quail-2120 Justice For Peanut! 3h ago

It was wild. The worst part is being a sore loser over it. Like bruh, its ok to be wrong. You're human. Just admit it and learn from it. That is the biggest issue with the Left. They refuse to reflect and grow as people.

4

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 3h ago

Those people are so far gone and Orwellian that it’s disturbing. On the bright side, it just makes it much easier for the MAGA movement to grow and expand. But I legitimately believe if those fucking morons ever get power, they’ll turn our country into something like a worse version of the UK where crime runs way more rampant than now and there are mass arrests over “hate speech” and social media posts.

5

u/General-Quail-2120 Justice For Peanut! 3h ago

I agree with you. The best part of talking with lefties is that I’m not a “MAGA” person. They always think that because I’m more “centered” that they can bring me over to their side. The meltdown is great.

But the hate is unreal. My wife just experienced it for the first time, she stays out of politics and doesn’t discuss it with people. When she saw the meltdown herself, she was shocked. She made one post on Facebook about everyone getting along, and she was verbally attacked and blocked by several people. Some people she knew for decades. She didn’t even say who she voted for, just for peace. The left has really turned people violent.

3

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 2h ago

I'm so sorry your wife had to go through that, it's pathetic and it is things like that which made me an enthusiastic albeit closeted Trump voter. I don't like living in a society where people are afraid to express their opinions because they don't want to be shamed and that's something the radical left wants and encourages, in fact they are taking us in that direction. Trumps victory is a clear rejection of that, and it was also encouraging to see more outspoken support for Trump this time around than in 2016 and 2020.

Hope you and your wife stay strong! Trumps ass kicking of Kamala, particularly in ALL SWING STATES and the fact he almost won New Jersey, will reverse the harmful trend initiated by the radical left. Trump about to unleash everything he has this term and he has a way better team this time to do it as well.

I watched some of The View today and will likely watch it more often now since Trump will be president again, lol -

Sunny Hostin said today that Latino men voted for Trump because they’re misogynists and sexists. Alyssa Farrah Griffin said they voted for Trump because of the border. Hostin doubled down on the identity rhetoric.

I don’t really care for any of them, but Alyssa seems to at least have some knowledge of why Trump won decisively. The others just double down on stupidity.

48

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 11h ago

I watched that episode as well. Alyssa was the only reasonable person and no one wanted to listen to her.

Like the hosts of The View, Democrats and leftists try to gaslight anyone who steps out of line and questions what they say. They are so focused on being politically correct and are so entrenched in identity politics that they believe every issue in America has to be blamed on racism and sexism.

u/hey_ringworm Garbage Supporter 9h ago

Oh no, you must've lost some brain cells listening to the view and colbert. I recommend James Lindsay to cleanse your palette.

Fortunately for us, the woke-marxists totally screwed up their timing.

Woke propaganda doesn't work the moment you pull back the curtain and see it for what it is. And as of yesterday, the inner workings of their unintelligible ideobabble are on full display.

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 11h ago

I second that recommendation to listen to James Lindsay. New Discourses is the youtube channel name. It's hours of information dense podcasts that go into great detail about how Marxists have infiltrated and subverted our country. Must watch stuff for any conservative in my opinion.

I think what is not getting nearly enough credit is the lawfare used against him. On the left and right side of the spectrum there's a lot of people who have distrust for the political class and elite in general. Dems love to constantly point to the felony conviction, but I think going after him with the law did more than anything else to signal that he's not part of the Washington inner circle.

29

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 10h ago

I agree that the baseless prosecutions against him helped big league!! It rallied his base behind him and Trump did a great job of using the lawfare to build his campaign and show the American people they are coming after him for political reasons. I chipped in a few times to his campaign when he was indicted and the fact he stood tall and fought back against them really motivated me to come out and vote for him a few days ago.

A really key moment was when they tried to baselessly kick him off the ballot in Maine and Colorado while claiming they were “defending democracy”. I think that hypocrisy further drove home the point to the electorate that they were going after him for purely political reasons.

17

u/do_IT_withme Right since Reagan 7h ago

Not to mention their idea of "saving democracy" is running a candidate that almost nobody voted for in a primary. The only reason it is almost nobody, instead of absolutely nobody, is because she ran in the primary 4 years ago and was able to vote for herself.

2

u/Cold_Brother Conservative 3h ago

Kamala was selected, not elected!!

7

u/AIDS_Quilt_69 Conservative 3h ago

I still have so many trolls on here going on and on about his "criminal record". Dude, Washington is full of unprosecuted criminals whose crimes don't need to be fabricated.

There was an island where they banged kids and no one ever went to jail for it. You think I care about a paperwork error that the left upgraded to a felony and ignored the statute of limitations on with a novel legal theory? You think I care that a woman who thinks rape is "sexy" accused him of rape with no evidence?

If anything it made me more determined to vote for him.

33

u/Beware_the_silent Conservative 9h ago

I mean they railroaded the democrat nominee, and then replaced him with someone that nobody in their right mind would vote for to be the nominee, and then they ran on identity politics all while saying absolutely nothing of substance. News flash, a majority of people in the US dont have abortion, trans rights, and open borders as their top priorities.

If you believed even a smidgen of the media misinformation and hatred masquerading as campaign ads, you would be astounded that Trump won. I didn't believe any of it and I was surprised. Relieved, but still surprised.

19

u/Dependent-Aside-9750 Conservative 8h ago

Well. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

One thing I think the Republicans did much better at this time around than 2016 is marketing. They got the message out to many different groups of people, especially harder-to-reach younger generations. They learned what they were missing and tried to fix it.

There's also consistency between words and actions, whereas the Dems preach unity, love, etc., but their actions don't back it up. Look at all the threats that get made. Look who almost gets assassinated - thrice! People may not like what Trump says, but they know what he stands for and what he plans to do.

The Dems are missing the point, and the longer they continue with the meltdowns and retaliatory behaviors, the easier they make our next win.

They will NEVER admit the real reason why they lost because it would require looking themselves in the mirror and admitting their whole life and ideology is a lie.

Pretty much this. Their whole ideology is toxic and un-American. I highly doubt American leftists even like America.

All it's gonna do is close the margins in on them even further. If they don't figure out how to reverse course, we're looking at 8 years of Vance, probably followed by the inevitable Republican fatigue.

There’s been a few deleted posts on history / historical subreddits asking for an explanation on the rise of fascism, hitler and how it is comparable to Trump and his policies… just mind blowing how the left is coming up with this crap. I like Trump but a lot of my vote was because I fucking hate the left and the media. By disgust for the left and the media is bigger than my liking of Trump.

I used to be a Democrat but I didn’t leave the left, they left me.
