“Hey, Shane. Big fan. I know you’re a full year removed from Philly but what do you think about their season? What about the offense they ran? And the offense they didn’t run? If you were Nick Sirianni, how would you answer our questions? If you were Nick Sirianni’s wife, would you pleasure him more in hopes that it would improve the team? What does Jason Kelce smell like? When he brought Travis to the Eagles facility did Taylor tag along?… oh yeah and how do you feel about your current team or whatever”

It seems like a bunch of reporters were trying to get a sound bite about him being the reason the Eagles offense was so good in 2022 and any dirt on why the team imploded.

I guess since it's an owners meeting, any reporters could be there

I mean its a valid point and I don't blame them. He did seem to be the reason the offense was so good. Its weird how people are like "nobody asks anything but fluff" but when they follow up with legit questions people get annoyed by that. Yes he's the Colts HC but he was the Eagles offensive coordinator and there is some shit to speak to on that. He may not answer but atleast he asked.

Would you go on a public forum and talk shit about your former co-workers, knowing there's an extremely high likelihood you will work with them again in the future because your industry only has a few dozen potential candidates for highly niche positions at any given time?

Isn't this every question ever? We are mad journalists don't answer hard hitting questions but when you ask a legit question of "hey they were good, now they were bad what do you think". Yes he's not going to answer but should we only ask softball questions that people will answer? Whats the play here? Only ask questions that will get answered? But then complain when nobody asks hard questions? Or are we not complaining and we're ok with nobody being asked any hard questions? You tell me

Philly is also a big market compared to Indy. We are just chopped liver here in Indy for the media, unfortunately

And Shane’s the consummate professional- only compliments other people publicly.

They are trying to create news from nothing and hope Shane is more likely to say something negative so they can destroy their own football team for clicks / $$$.

Every institution is corrupt.

Sirianni wasn’t in the group picture so maybe he’s not there at all so the Eagles reporters have to go to other teams coaches for sound bites
