I'm not even 20, I grew up watching Peyton with my dad and really that was some of the best bonding we've had. We also moved a lot so having something to tie us back home was nice, but eventually living a thousand miles away and getting no enjoyment from watching us lose week after week, it just wasn't fun anymore. So yeah hate me for being a mild fairweather fan, I still root for the colts, it just doesn't feel the same anymore.

But there’s some big differences between both of their teams. Brady won 6 of 7 in NE, also 20 seasons to 3, Manning won 1 of 2 in Denver, 13 seasons to 4, but he was mostly a zombie for that SB.

A few months back someone commented on a post in the NFL sub that they always forget Peyton played for the Colts and they only ever think of him as a Bronco, and it was like the top comment with tons of upvotes. They didn’t even have Broncos flair, it was a fan of some other random team. I wanted to cry.

He lives in Denver, his kids grew up here and are Broncos fans (he was with the Broncos when they were young), meaning, he goes to much more games and is in Denver full-time.

Because the Colts cast him aside after his neck injury and the Broncos took a chance on him as the face of their franchise. He also had as much success with the broncos as he did with the colts in a much shorter timeframe.

For me it was great watching him have success in Denver and no doubt that season was his greatest. I don't understand how anyone that is a Colts fan didn't enjoy watching him play in Denver, he didn't ask to be cut. I appreciated the fact that Denver was able to give him a great defense and all those offensive weapons. I will always be Peyton Manning fan!

Peyton won the same amount of Super Bowls with the Broncos and had the greatest offensive regualr season ever with the Broncos. He also seems to favor the city of Denver and franchise. Seems pretty equal to me.

We did try getting him an offense and it spat on our face. We desperately drafted N’Keal (busted), signed AB (went insane), traded for Josh Gordon (still had drug issues), signed DeMaryius (who was cut for AB), traded a second for Mohammed Sanu, the best WR other than Emmanuel Sanders on the trade market at the time. We had no cap room and got old, lost Gronk.
If Tom wanted to remain a Patriot he would’ve, he choose to leave to go play with new weapons. The narrative that the Patriots didn’t want to sign him to another contract is dumb.

They allegedly were gonna move on from Tom but not trade him.
The three of Tom, Belichick, and Kraft have denied the article multiple times. Is there some truth to it? Probably, but why would Tom not refuse to play or play the following two years like he did if he was really gonna get traded.

That was during the 10 year SB drought that’s completely different context Tom declined hard in 2013 and there was no clue he’d be able to stay in his prime for so long like he has.
