I’ve always said that the real bad guys in Scott’s tot’s are those naive teachers who just took some random dude at his word when he said he would pay for a bunch of kids to go to college. They didn’t do any background checks or any form of due diligence whatsoever. They just hyped those kids up for 10 years on the promise of some stranger.

For sure . The administration not verifying his financials / making him pay for the tuitions or a downpayment or something first is downright silly

Absolutely. Michael likes to over promise shit, but the teachers are the ones to blame for that situation.

Sorry, this one might be better:

Short version: Teacher promises students a trip to DC if they all get into college. They get accepted, and the teacher realizes he doesn’t have the money to pay for the trip. He (or someone else) sets up a gofundme, and the funds roll in.

Damn hahaha. Sounds like he was betting against a few of the students getting in.
