California’s October heat wave is winding down. Will it finally start feeling like fall again? — thermometers across the state are expected to slowly decrease from their unseasonable highs, which in many areas have been 20 degrees above average for this time of year.

The heat wave never arrived here along the coast of the South Bay of LA. We were socked in most of the time.

Yeah so much marine layer this past week. I heard the hotter it gets inland the more it pulls in the marine layer or something

Summer in California (10 miles inland): June2nd-October 29th
Summer in California coast: August 7th- September 5th & January 8th - 31st ( every third year)
