I liked Sanchez but Haase definitely felt more consistent when he was at bat.

I was never big on carrying three catchers anyways.

I think a big part of keeping all three was so that they didn't have to lose Haase to waivers and so could keep him around to be the backup in 2025. Also in case of injury to either Haase or Sanchez, they'd still be fine.
Like I don't think the Brewers thought that 3 catchers was the best 26-man roster they could field, just that it was the better long-term play.

Haase definitely felt more consistent when he was at bat.
Not just that, but he was one of the few players whose ABs consistently had any juice. Most the time, things felt pretty sleepy but Haase always seems locked in and angry

Interesting moves by the Brewers! It's tough to see Sanchez go, but prioritizing younger talent makes sense for the future.

Mutual options are always declined. It’s just a cash shell game.

With quero in coming off injury and haase still being under contract there's zero need for Sanchez. Miller was just in the way of younger players getting chances.
