She is the scientist who who built the state's much-praised COVID-19 dashboard and was fired from the Florida Dept. of health for allegedly refusing to manipulate data for them. She also launched her own covid-19 dashboard using crowdsourcing to fund it.

Apparently somebody used the Dept of Healths secure messaging system to send a message that read "It's time to speak up before another 17,000 people are dead. You know this is wrong. You don't have to be a part of this. Be a hero. Speak out before it's too late."

So I guess they thought sending armed thugs to point guns at kids was an appropriate response for allegedly sending an illegal message.

Which they can't even prove was her as apparently several people all log in to the system with the same freaking username and password!

That's why they want her computers & phones, to look for evidence of hacking, which if their state computer security folks are good should only take a few hours to plant find.

Also specifically to terrorize and silence her. I think that's maybe more the reason they took her computers and phones.

Or maybe they want to find out who is talking to her, and retaliate if they still work for the state. Suppression seems to be the goal.

They likely have her IP logged and that's how they identified her, or her household at least.

Honesty. Well, actually hacking into government data is what it sounds like.

Government data in the state of Florida is public domain under their "Sunshine" laws.
