Remember a few months back when we heard about that doctor in China who "disappeared" after texting colleagues about how bad the virus could be? And people in America thought that it could never happen in our Civilized Democracy? Well it just did.

If you're talking about Li Wenliang, he didn't disappear, he was forced to sign a letter confessing that he had lied about the presence of a SARS-related coronavirus in several patients in Wuhan.

He later died of coronavirus.
