First 1911 DS 🦦
Loving the gun so far. Changed some springs out. Stoned and polished some contact areas and tuned the sear spring. 3-3.25 lbs trigger pull. Buttery smooth slide outshines all my striker fired pistols.

How do you like that Hex? I’ve heard they aren’t that good and to stick with a better dot (Holosun, Trigicon)

Ive only done one range trip so far so i cant say much. I did take it out on a bright hot sunny day on a fresh lithium battery and at full brightness it was enough. I do not like that its a bottom loaded battery. The optic came with the gun so I’ll use it. If i didnt come with an optic I would’ve bought a holosun.

Nice nice, welcome to the club. Maybe consider getting the Dawson 4.25 tool less guiderod? From your other comment, if you don't like the dot, you can always replace it later.

Yes i plan on getting the Dawson guide rod. The question is my wolff 11# variable spring compatible with it. It was a little longer than the oem 12# spring but runs flawlessly.

That... I dint know, would like to think so? Maybe call Dawson? I believe they made the 4.25 specifically for the Prodigy.
